Key skills :
- Custom Theme Development : Convert Figma/PSD designs into custom Magento and WordPress themes.
- Magento 2 Knowledge: Deep understanding of Magento 2’s structure, including its templating, modules, and themes, is essential.
- Layout Customization : Customize website layouts and add features that enhance user engagement and functionality.
- Responsive & Performance Optimization : Ensure the design is fully responsive and optimized for performance across all devices.
- Frontend Proficiency : Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for clean and efficient frontend development.
- CSS & LESS/SASS Mastery: Skilled in CSS for styling and theming, with knowledge of LESS or SASS to streamline styling processes in Magento’s design system.
- Magento 2 & WordPress Expertise : Experience in Magento 2 and WordPress theme development, including templating and customizations.
- UI/UX & Responsive Design : Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design best practices to create user-centered interfaces.
- JavaScript & jQuery Skills: Proficient in JavaScript, including jQuery, for adding interactivity and handling Magento-specific frontend tasks.
- Knockout.js Knowledge: Familiarity with Knockout.js, used in Magento’s UI components, is crucial for developing dynamic frontend features.
- Experience with Frontend Tools: Knowledge of frontend build tools (e.g., Grunt, Gulp) to optimize performance and streamline workflows.
- Magento Themes & Layout XML: Ability to work with Magento’s theme hierarchy, layout XML files, and customize templates effectively.
